Step 2: Perform Home Energy Improvements

When your home energy audit is complete, your contractor will provide you a prioritized list of recommended energy efficiency improvements with rebate amounts specifically tailored for your home. You decide which solutions best fit your budget. Once completed, BGE will reward you with rebates to help cover the cost of the work.

Step 3: Qualify for up to $7,500 in Rebates!

Your rebate amount is based on the estimated electric and gas savings of eligible measures as calculated by your contractor using BGE-approved energy modeling software. The average rebate is $3,000, but depending on your home it can amount to up to $7,500. The more you save, the bigger your rebate!

Efficient Home LLC, a trusted LMI auditor and direct install expert, is the subcontractor for delivering the audit and free direct install measures. The Empowerment Grant allowed the piloting of a national best practice offering in Delaware.

The energy audit went well.  The technician informed us of what work would be recommended to better insulate our home.  We will be using Efficient Home to complete our attic insulation.  Thanks!
