Energize DE Home Energy Checkup and Counseling (HEC2)
An In-Home Energy Check-Up is a fast and easy way to increase the energy efficiency of your home, helping you start saving immediately.
Efficient Home is an approved Contractor with Energize Delaware. After scheduling your HEC2 Visit, an Efficient Home Energy Advisor will come to your home to perform a walk-through and show you ways to reduce your energy use, save money on your utility bills, and improve the comfort of your home. They will also install FREE energy-saving products, such as LED light bulbs, faucet aerators, efficient-flow fixed showerheads, and water-heater pipe insulation.
Income-qualified residents may also be eligible for a $300 credit on their utility bill after completing their HEC2 Visit. Refer to the income charts at the bottom of this page to see if you qualify! - If you qualify, a $300 credit from the Delmarva Power Customer Relief Fund will be applied to your account in 4 – 6 weeks.
- Delaware Energy Fund (non Delmarva Customers) will receive either bill credit or check. Please allow 4 – 6 weeks for this process.
